You’d Be Surprised What’s Still Waiting!

Thirty Years Later, a Simple Error Was Finally Made Right

Cherry had previously done a free online search for unclaimed money in her name but wanted to be certain nothing had been missed. She reached out to Eureka Claims for a second set of eyes—just in case.

Within 24 hours, we identified a claim dating back to 1995. It had been overlooked because her first name was slightly misspelt in the records.

Although the original account contained all her correct details, a small administrative error had left the funds unclaimed. Over the years, Cherry had married, divorced, changed her name, and moved multiple times—further complicating the trail.

Because no one is actively looking for the rightful owners—and certainly not for those whose records contain errors—the money simply sits there. It doesn’t disappear, but it doesn’t find its way home either.

Thanks to a deeper search and careful tracing, we were able to reconnect Cherry with money that had been sitting unnoticed for over three decades.

Multiple dividend payments, lost for years—until we found them.

When we first reached out, David wasn’t quite sure what to make of the letter.

“To be honest, I didn’t think much of the letter at first . These days, you can’t be too careful. But something about it felt different. So I looked a little closer.”

What he discovered was unexpected: multiple unclaimed dividend payments going back to 2014, tied to a share portfolio he’d long since moved on from.

He'd changed addresses and closed an old account—perfectly normal. But in the world of unclaimed money, those changes can quietly sever the connection between you and what you’re owed.

By the time we made contact, several payments had accumulated—completely unnoticed.

We’re proud to have played our part in reuniting her with what was rightfully hers—and to offer a process that feels just as trustworthy as the result.

Ten Years On, a Missed Vehicle Refund Finally Found Its Way Home

Dixie had no idea unclaimed money even existed—let alone that some of it could belong to her.

When we first contacted her, she was surprised—but also genuinely delighted. The funds had been held since 2013 by the Department of Transport, relating to a vehicle registration that had been transferred or changed. As often happens in these cases, a credit or adjustment had been applied—but without an active connection to her current details, the money was never returned.

By that time, Dixie had moved away from the area and had no idea the funds were still sitting there.

While she had thought about looking into it herself, she found the online process a bit much to navigate and didn’t want the hassle. She chose to work with Eureka Claims because she wanted the claim to be easy, guided, and taken care of properly—and that’s exactly what we were able to provide.

We were proud to manage the search and paperwork so Dixie could simply enjoy the result: her money, back where it belongs.
